We're a nonprofit organization founded by students

Climatepedia.org is a not-for-profit climate change education website. Established in 2011 by University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) students, Climatepedia continues to grow. The website is run by UCLA, UC Irvine, and Yale University students and alumni.

Despite our varied academic backgrounds, from economics to chemical engineering, we are united by our belief that climate change is one of the most important issues of our generation.

Our mission is to be the most straightforward source for climate change information. In doing so, we hope to enable more reasoned discussions on climate change and related issues.

Climatepedia obtains funding from various university and non-profit sources. All funding is used toward website fees, development, and marketing materials. As such, the website does not generate profit for any members involved.

Please send any feedback or questions to info@climatepedia.org. We’d love to hear from you.
